In Demand

Everywhere I go here in the Philippines, I would always notice people in white. Actually, even if you don't look for them, you'll see them everywhere. Nursing has been really an in demand course for so many countries are in need of nurses. Of course some of them aren't assured of great life ahead, but if you already have the knowledge, and as long as you're up to the challenges, I am sure anyone can go a long way.

One of the things people in the medical field can be is to become a medical assistant. Doctors with their own clinics are in need of these kind of employees to help them with the paper works and in assisting their needs. Even if they do office works or interview the patients, it would also be great that the one to do it is someone abreast with the details in the medical field.

There are so many schools offering training, and one of them is the St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants, and in this medical assistant school, a student can earn a certificate in six to eight weeks, and what's even greater about that is that because it's online, students can study in their own mode. So whether they are working or studying other courses, they can certainly be a medical assistant, too.

And not just because a medical assistant only "assists" the doctor doesn't mean that it's just that. The course has so many programs, that are great means of getting knowledge. So if you wanted to become the doctor in the future, you already have some stored knowledge that will help you get ahead.

So if you're looking for medical assistant school, you can try considering this school. This might be the one you're looking for.

Gifts to Match Personalities

Here in the Philippines, Christmas season starts when September arrives. Since it's now October, people who don't want to be hassled are now preparing their shopping list - for it is indeed hard to go up against people who are also shopping for their presents. Some opt to buy in online stores, so they can do it at the comforts of their own home or office.

Ever since I've visited my aunt and her husband in the fish cages, I have seen how hard it was for them to live in the middle of the sea watching over the fishes. But, I've seen how fulfilled they are, and actually, aside from the fishes they are watching over, they were also able to catch different kinds of fishes that they can cook for themselves, or sell, if they want to.

One of the complaints mom and I had when we were there was that their knifes aren't sharpened and they only own one. Well, it's true that we don't need as much as we want, but in my opinion, we need to have at least two or three. Which is why when I saw this Diamond Outfitter Knife from Thompson Outdoor Supply, I really wanted to have it for them. I loved how sturdy it is and how cool the handle is -- perfect for my aunt and her husband to use. Of course, they might be able to catch a big fish, and they really need a heavy-duty knife for their line of work.

The site has different outdoor knives you can choose from, so if you need an outdoor knife, just go ahead and check it out.

Dianeskie's B-Day Contest

My dear friend Diane is celebrating her birthday on the 31st, and in celebration of her 25th birthday, she decided to do a contest. Up for grabs are yummy prizes that include 10USD for the first prize and 5USD for the second prize. She will also be giving some of her used scrapbook magazines for some lucky contestants. Well, it's not everyday that a blogger holds out a contest, so might as well join, right?

Please check out these blogs for more information:

All of my blogs are joining, to increase my chances *winks*. Well, like what I have said, it's not everyday that someone puts up a contest, and it's certainly not everyday that Diane gives out contests, so I want to try my luck. In every situation, we have to be "in it to win it," so I say, "Tira Tira!" Hahahaha!

Thanks for the contest, D!

Just So You Know...

You may have known that I have been writing paid posts, and if you're like me, you will know that PR is very important. Just a few days when this blog was "promoted" to PR 3, Google smacked it with PR 0. At that time, I barely knew the ins and outs of blogging and earning from it, and all the while I thought that as long as you have a blog and you can get to exchange links with other bloggers, all is well.

When I opened three new blogs not to long ago, I realized the importance of blog traffic, and I learned a bit too late and this blog can no longer come out of the hole it has fallen into. I have read in a blog that once Google smacked you with PR 0 and can no longer get back, it's time to open a new blog and start anew. And that's what I am going to do.

Actually, I have already opened the blog that will take over this blog. I am still in the process of putting things together, and hopefully by tomorrow, I can write the very first post there. It will be my personal blog, pretty much the same as this, but this time, I will apply the little knowledge I have had so far. I am not closing this blog, but I am not assuring that this one will be updated like it was before. I will put the new link here once it's done.
